Sit-in dialogue with the Liga ng mga Barangay in the town of Torrijos together with the Philippine Information Agency regarding in the following activities to wit; 1. Info dissemination on RA 9482 (Anti-Rabies Act of 2007) 2. Strict implementation of Provincial Ordinance #38 s. 2002 (Provincial Rabies Ordinance) 3. Delineation of functions between agencies involved in rabies prevention, control and eradication program (maintenance phase of our rabies-free status) 4. Distribution of tarpaulins, brochures, flyers and other info materials 5. Pledge of commitments 6. Accidents involving stray dogs 7. Control and eradication of stray dogs 8. Suggestions from concerned citizen on stray dogs control 9. Complaint from concerned citizen on matters of vehicular accidents involving stray dogs 10. Timetable: 60 days starting today to implement all laws pertaining to stray dogs eradication

Mass anti-rabies vaccination and compulsory registration of dogs and cats….


Start of our mass vaccination and compulsory registration of new born ages 3 mos. and above and those newly moved-in dogs in fulfilment to our commitments to the “MIMAROPA INITIATIVE 2016” towards RABIES-FREE MIMAROPA 2020…in lieu to this is the re-survey of dog population in the island to validate the effect of our Six (6) Year Spay and Neuter Project… a complimentary strategy in order to maintain our RABIES-FREE STATUS… target area are barangays facing Mindoro Island along Tablas Strait
